10. Ducati 900ss (221 km/h)
Introduced in 1988, this Italian speed monster remained in production until 2003. The two-letter S stands for “Supersport” and perfectly describes the high speed of this motorcycle. The Ducati 900SS was designed with two goals: a lightweight design and a narrow chassis while maintaining ease of handling. The result was a top speed of 221 km/h during testing, a feat that puts it ahead of competitors from many manufacturers.
The engine is a four-stroke with two valves. The machine has an excellent air cooling system, and its working volume is estimated at 904 cubic feet. With this volume, the engine power is 80 hp, and acceleration is quite fast. However, the above parameters did not allow him to pass the next competitor in our selection.
